Josh Dorsey is a regular at the Albany skate park. The above photos really show off his talent, I later found out that he was a semi-professional skateboarder. Josh lives in Albany, Oregon and has been skateboarding since he was in middle-school. He has competed in many skateboarding events, and in June Josh will be competing at the Zumiez Best Foot Forward skateboard event. This an exclusive invite only event, where some of the best local skaters compete. I was hesitant about cropping these extremely for a number of reasons: First I had to bump the ISO up to 1600 since it was dark out, and extreme cropping would distort the images even more. Secondly I felt like it took away from the overall fell of the photos. Cropping in skateboarding pictures doesn't make a whole lot of sense because I feel like capturing how high Josh got was more important! 5/20/2011
